Design and manufacture of hygienic process systems is a specialised subject – we know because over the years when we’ve tried to recruit project engineers with food industry process knowledge, they’ve been few and far between.

There’s a lot more to designing a truly hygienic system than being able to install a few lengths of correctly welded stainless steel pipe work; apart from the mechanics of designing a system that can be completely CIP’d effectively, there is both a science and an art in automating and controlling a well designed hygienic system.
